Welcome to the nature section of Melton Ross and New Barnetby.  This section of the site is dedicated to wild flowers, insects, birds etc that can be found in the Melton Ross and New Barnetby area.  All of the photographs have been taken in or within one mile of the villages.  I will be adding to these photographs as the seasons change.  Please note!!, the photographs are not to scale.  Many of the photos have been taken with the camera on macro (close up) mode to show detail.  Therefore, what may appear to be quite large, can in fact be quite small.
